Additional Information / FAQ
Mounting
To weld the long arm brackets in the fuel tank will have to be removed to allow access. The factory lower control arm mounts will have to be cut off and clean up before welding the long arm mounts to the underside of the chassis. Once the long arms are welded in and painted the fuel tank can be reinstalled.
The upper drop brackets slide over and bolt to the factory upper control arms mounts. They are required to be welded as well as bolted
Arms
The length of the arms is up to you as these mounts can be welded on anywhere. My arms are 900mm machined solid 7075 alloy arm so once the heim and bush are threaded in the arm measures roughly 1050mm from bolt to bolt.
The factory upper arms can be used
Cost of Arms
900mm Machined Alloy Arms - $500 roughly
Genuine screw in bushes and DFI heims - $330
Lift height
The arms will have plenty of clearance even at stock lift height with no bump stop extensions. However, for the best performance, this suits cars sitting at 2 - 4 inches of lift.
